NHS Gaming Club (2021 - Present)In my role as Vice President, I adeptly oversaw the daily functions of the Gaming Club. From orchestrating engaging weekly meetings to coordinating casual play sessions and competitive tournaments, I curated an inclusive environment that catered to a diverse range of gaming interests and skill levels. Collaborating with the president, we successfully established the NHS Gaming Club esports organization, elevating our engagement to inter-school district tournaments and clinching an impressive second-place finish.
Beyond the numbers, my leadership provided a welcoming haven for 142 members. This inclusive space became a melting pot of individuals from varied backgrounds and interests, fostering meaningful connections through shared gaming experiences. |
NHS Gaming Club (cont..)Irvine Valley College, our local community college, invited us to participate in the IUSD (Irvine Unified School District) competition after noticing our club's potential. I took on the responsibility of forming an esports organization and constructing a competitive team at our school, scouting for the best players. Our efforts culminated in a remarkable second-place finish in the tournament.

Praise Team Bass PlayerDuring weekly Sunday services, I performed an important role as the solo bass player in a full orchestra. I showed commitment by attending every 8 a.m. practice before every 9:30 a.m. service. This one-of-a-kind role gave me complete responsibility for the bass section, requiring a close collaboration with the conductor. We worked together to ensure that each note was properly played at the right time, contributing to the overall perfection of the musical piece.
